Tow Truck Operator

About This Role

Responsibilities Respond to dispatch calls for towing, recovery, and roadside assistance across Edmonton and area Operate 1-ton and flatbed tow trucks safely and professionally at all times Ensure vehicles are loaded and secured properly to prevent any damage during transport Provide outstanding customer service — you are often the first friendly face people see in a stressful situation Complete required paperwork and documentation for each service call accurately Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and customers Follow all Alberta traffic laws and company safety protocols on every call Requirements Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence (minimum) — clean driving record required Previous towing, flatbed, or related truck driving experience strongly preferred Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle Physically able to perform the duties of a tow truck operator (lifting, securing vehicles) Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Strong customer service skills and professional attitude Good knowledge of Edmonton roads and surrounding areas Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic Assets (Not Required) Alberta Class 3 or higher driver's licence First Aid / CPR certification Previous experience in the towing or automotive industry Knowledge of vehicle types and basic mechanical troubleshooting
